A Takeaway driver has been allowed to keep his licence despite being given 18 penalty points in one hit for\u00a0using an unsafe car.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The driver, who already had\u00a011 points on his licence,\u00a0pleaded guilty to a string of motoring offences when he appeared at court, however the courts’\u00a0took pity on him after he said he would lose his job if he did not have a driving licence – as this would result in him, his wife and their children ending up homeless as they would be unable to meet their mortgage payments.<\/p>\n

The decision to not disqualify the driver was made due to ‘mitigating circumstances’….<\/p>\n
