Whilst browsing the internet, I stumbled upon this little beauty!<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of my driver training, \u00a0I use in-car video recording both as a learning tool, as well as for safety purposes. \u00a0Many would think that the use of in-car recording would be a very modern concert, however it seems that the practice was in place – albeit very rarely – back in the sixties.<\/p>\n

The footage shows the\u00a0journey from London to Bath as driven by Mr G. Eyles of the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists).<\/p>\n

Having watched the footage for myself, it interesting to see how quiet the roads are in comparison to modern day traffic, and also some of the on-road practices – the flashing of headlights and sounding of the horn in particular – did make me smile in disbelief!<\/p>\n

I am not quite sure how such practices would be received on modern day roads!<\/p>\n

If you have ten minutes to spare (!), it\u2019s certainly worth a look.<\/p>\n
