There you are, you park your car next to a canal to take a romantic\u00a0stroll with your partner. \u00a0You decide to make the most of it by popping into the\u00a0canal-side pub for a quiet drink.<\/p>\n

Sounds very pleasant I think you’ll agree.<\/p>\n

However, the occasion was ruined when someone told him that his car had actually rolled into the canal!<\/p>\n

A bit of a mood killer that…<\/p>\n

It seems that passers-by had\u00a0heard a loud snapping sound from the three-year-old\u00a0Toyota Avensis, which is thought to have been the sound of the\u00a0handbrake cable failing.<\/p>\n

Fortunately no one was hurt.<\/p>\n
