A thief was branded “crass and stupid” after being arrested for arriving at a court appearance in a stolen vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It seems that the 29 year old stole a Vauxhall Corsa from a garage forecourt the night before he was due to appear at court on other motoring matters.<\/p>\n

Police knew that the man was due to be there, so they also went along \u00a0– and proceeded to arrested him for the theft of the Corsa.<\/p>\n

The man later appeared at court where he admitted to burglary, unlawful vehicle-taking, theft of a Vauxhall Corsa and driving while disqualified.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was in turn jailed for 15 months.<\/span><\/p>\n
