Plans have been announced by the Government to extend the currently restricted licence period of three years to ten years for drivers with diabetes treated by insulin. \u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Long term insulin users can find it difficult to recognise the dangerous symptoms of hypoglycemia.<\/p>\n

It is expected that the changes could be in effect as early as this year.<\/p>\n
