According to figures from the Association of Chief Police Officer’s (ACPO) compiled during their summer drink drive campaign, one in 15 of those breath-tested were found to be over the legal drink-drive limit.<\/span><\/h1>\n

The campaign which was on a national scale running from 1 June to 30 June, administered 63,688 breath tests, of which 4,108 were failed or refused. This equated to 6.5%, or in more straight forward terms this is the one in 15 as stated above. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In light of the figures released, road safety charity, Brake, has issued an appeal to the public not to drink and drive this summer, and indeed year round.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
