A worrying observation . . .
I have noticed of late that an increasing number of motorists are using a mobile phone whilst behind the wheel; one particular motorist of note recently followed closely behind me for over a mile, in slower moving traffic, with his right hand pressed against his ear. This alone is worrying enough; however, more worrying is the fact that a handful of said motorists have been doing so whilst carrying small children on-board . . .
Of course, my main concern is for the safety and welfare of the children, however, my other concern is the example being set to said children.
It is thought that children begin to form their opinions on road safety and what makes a ‘good’ driver from around the age 18 months?
Just a thought . . .
