Reflection…
Having had time to reflect on today’s game, I think we should be very pleased with a ‘strong’ draw.
Away from home but very much in the driver’s seat for the large majority of the game in my opinion, what with Gardner having a goal ruled out for off-side and Borini smashing his header off the bar – well, the end result should have been a different one really.
Oh, and who can forget the ABSOLUTE SITTER which Giaccherini somehow managed to put over the bar from all of three inches..!
Quality player though.
All three pivotal moments just, sadly, typical of our luck at the moment.
Everyone to a man played their part today, but for me Bardsley took one more huge step towards redemption with a brilliant performance, and the man Brown was excellent once again also… oh, how we’ve missed you Wesley!
I must say: I do like watching Ki in our Midfield…
And we finished the game with a full compliment of players… RESULT!
On to the next one… next up the small matter of Chelsea at home on Wednesday!
