Match date: Saturday 17 August 2013.
Final Score: Sunderland 0 – 1 Fulham
Reflection….
Opening day of the season, and as always, optimistic for the season ahead.
We were comfortably in control for long spells and created a number of chances, only to frustratingly lose the game to header which match statistics will show as being the visitors’ only actual effort on target throughout the 90 minutes.
Pleasing football from the new-look Sunderland, but still lacking in my opinion.
Anyway – Bring on the next one!
