Well, that’s not exactly what the author of the linked article below is saying, but he does make a valid point.
The article is an American’s perspective on the rigours of the UK driving test process in comparison to that of his native US of A. Having passed a what appears to be ridiculously simple driving test back home at the age of 16, then in turn taking that of the UK, he admits to a new found respect for all the motorists he encounters on British roads.
The author even goes as far as to say that he feels a UK driving licence is basically a PhD in driving!
