That’s correct folks…

According to the Bournemouth Echo, the car which was designed to catch people unlawfully parking their vehicles was recorded by Dorset police officers as it was travelling at a speed of 36mph in a 30mph area.

The driver of the vehicle was given an on-the-spot fine of £100, along with three penalty points on their licence, however the driver was also given the option of attending a £110 speed awareness course whereby the points on their licence could be evaded.

The Traffic manager for Poole Council had confirmed that indeed a speeding ticket was received, and that they will be speaking with the individual concerned.
