Driving Lessons Sunderland: Abolition Of The Vehicle Tax Disc

Just a worthwhile reminder from earlier in the year that with effect from 1 October 2014, it will be no longer necessary to display the paper tax disc on a vehicle windscreen.

Essentially, it is still necessary to get vehicle tax in order to drive or keep a vehicle on the road, and the DVLA will still send you a renewal reminder in advance of when the vehicle tax is due to expire.

It is also worth noting that should you be the keeper of a vehicle which is exempt from tax, the above still applies.
