Driving Lessons Sunderland: Over Half Of All Drivers Admit To Tailgating On Motorways

By | 24/05/2014

A survey conducted by road safety group Brake and insurers Direct Line has found that over half of the 1,000 drivers surveyed admit to leaving less than a two-second gap between the vehicle in front and themselves.

This is an interesting finding given that almost all drivers said that they are concerned about other drivers tailgating them.

Furthermore, the survey also found that 60 per cent of those surveyed admitted to breaking the speed limit while on a motorway or dual carriageway by 10mph or more.
