Here we are again, eh? Another week has passed on this green and pleasant land we call earth. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the evenings are light… What more could we ask for?!
And what another delightful week it has been at Chris Chambers School of Motoring!
In addition to the in-car driver training sessions I have presented, this week I also had the pleasure of spending some extremely positive time with a number of passionate, knowledgeable, and like minded colleagues from around the area at the DIA (Driving Instructors Association) CPD event in Durham on Thursday.
I have attended a number of such events over the years as part of my own personal development, however I must say that this particular event will live long in the memory for all of the right reasons.
Take it from me folks. You can’t fail to be both empowered and inspired when in a room full of positivity for three hours plus, with other professionals, all of whom are passionate and knowledgeable about road safety and the driver training profession.
I’ll be honest – I would have happily stayed all day!
So, to the DIA – I salute you.
Oh, and in other news, it is still uncomfortably warm out there if you hadn’t already noticed (!), and because of the sunny conditions, I am still showing evidence of last week’s unfortunate ‘truckers arm’ infliction!?
So, here’s to next week, eh?!
Just one final thing before I go…
Should you know of anyone who is currently 16 and approaching 17 (or any other age for that matter!) who will be thinking of taking driving lessons in Sunderland over the next few months or so, please share the following link with them:
