Driving Lessons Sunderland: Transport Secretary To Axe Pointless Road Signs.

The past two decades has seen a huge rise in the number of totally unnecessary road signs blotting the landscape, but an end to the ‘pointless’ signs could be nearing.

It seems that there is currently around one sign for every seven cars on the roads!

Furthermore, the Department for Transport (DfT) admitted at the time that Britain has around 9,000 signs which are considered either redundant or misleading and need to be revised.

Worryingly, a survey revealed that most people have no idea what many of the road signs actually mean…
