Bikers and cyclists are among the most vulnerable road users when out there on our roads.
They can be difficult to see, particularly when, for example, emerging from junctions, at roundabouts, filtering through traffic.
Due to their vulnerability, it is vitally important to take longer to look out for them at they could well be approaching more quickly than you may think. The risk can be vastly reduced by ensuring effective use of your vision scans, mirrors, and blind spots.
Did you know that even though motorcyclists make up only 1% of road traffic, but actually account for a huge 19% of all road user fatalities?
