A man dubbed ‘Britain’s worst learner driver’ Ali Mohammed, 26, decided to pay an imposter hundreds of pounds to sit his driving theory test for him having grown tired of failing it a total of 18 times.
Happily justice prevailed when the ill-advised scam was exposed as eagle-eyed staff noticed the imposter did not match the photo on the driving licence.
This was not the first time that Mr Mohammed has attempted to con his way to a full driving licence. It appears that in 2007 he actually used another imposter, this time at a testing centre in Stoke-on-Trent – only for him to be exposed as a conman also.
It just goes to show that crime does not pay!
