First off, I have from being a young child been an absolute lover of all things cars – if it had four wheels and an engine I was all over it!
Above all other cars, one particular car stood out head and shoulders above the rest and even today as a fully grown man approaching thirty-eight years of age, this particular car still engages my mind unlike any other.
That very special car is the Ferrari F40.
I have been fortunate enough to have driven many of the great cars over the years, however currently the F40 sadly remains a one for the bucket list. So highly thought of, it seems that every journalist who has ever driven it is of the same opinion in that it is the ultimate drivers car.
For anyone who would consider themselves a ‘Petrolhead’, I would recommend that you take time to watch journalist Chris Harris’ video experience of driving both the F40 and its younger brother, the F50, on the same track on the same day!
Oh how I wish it was me!!
They say that you should never meet your idols, but on this occasion I am not buying it!
