Picture the scene…
There you are, you park your car next to a canal to take a romantic stroll with your partner. You decide to make the most of it by popping into the canal-side pub for a quiet drink.
Sounds very pleasant I think you’ll agree.
However, the occasion was ruined when someone told him that his car had actually rolled into the canal!
A bit of a mood killer that…
It seems that passers-by had heard a loud snapping sound from the three-year-old Toyota Avensis, which is thought to have been the sound of the handbrake cable failing.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
