Wow… What a crazy night of Football at the SOL!
Hugely disappointed to essentially lose to an own goal of course, but this is Football…
Chelsea certainly knew they were in a game this evening, and if it were not for the brilliantly talented Hazard, then for me the result would have been a very different one.
Crazy, crazy match… To score three goals at home, let’s be honest – you would expect to win the game!
A couple of poor goals to concede but the passion, commitment and quality were there for all to see. We passed it really well and looked a threat from the outset.
Absolutely delighted for Jozy Altidore on scoring his first league goal for us. He looked quick, strong and up-for-it; hopefully the first of many in the Red & White shirt.
As disappointed as I am that – for all our effort – we finished the game with nothing to show from it points wise, I am actually finding it difficult to be ‘down’ about it. If you didn’t know otherwise you would never in a million years think that we were rock bottom of the league – we looked like a comfortable mid-table side brimming with confidence.
Again, result aside the team is looking very positive and on-the-up under Gus Poyet. Continue to put in performances like that, then I’m confident that we’ll be fine come the end of the season.
