An announcement, as part of Chancellor George Osborne’s Autumn Statement 2013, has revealed that paper Tax Discs will be unavailable as of next October as part of an overhaul of vehicle excise duty.
It appears that this is due to increasing usage of the electronic register of cars, vans and lorries to identify tax dodgers.
