According to a new report carried out for Cosan Lubricants’ Mobil Care range, more than a third of all cars in Europe could experience brake failure without warning.
The research, which was carried out at independent service garages across the UK, worryingly found that an not insignificant 26.5% of UK motorists are operating with sub-standard brake fluid in their vehicles’ braking system.
The figures showed that overall across Europe 41% of vehicles were at risk, which essentially made the UK an above average performer.
