…All hail the mighty Ford Fiesta! Fiesta is King!
Data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has revealed that the wonderful Ford Fiesta has become the best-selling vehicle in the UK… EVER!
Since the darling of Ford Motor Company first appeared in 1976, a staggering 4,132.294 Fiestas have been sold, in which time it led the small car segment for 27 of its 37 year life.
I too have been a huge lover of the Fiesta since back in the days when cars had a genuine soul and personality about them, which, unfortunately is a world away from many of today’s seemingly characterless cars.
And naturally, given my long-term association and appreciation of all things Ford, my vehicle of choice for teaching is unsurprisingly the mighty Fiesta, and will most likely always be.
Having been momentarily awash with nostalgia, I have even decided to share an image of my own Fiesta – pre-driving school livery – for your visual pleasure!

As always – stay safe good people!
