Surrey Police have taken to using an brilliant, if not alternative method to the norm, in their efforts to make sure that their message is heard.
With inspiration from the 1993 hit song, Boom! Shake the Room! by The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Surrey Police have taken to rapping their way through a number of road safety rules in a string of Twitter posts.
With lines such as “Hyped up, psyched up, slipping ‘n’ sliding, standing water is a risk for colliding #boom” and “Yo, back up now and give a brother room. The roads are wet and you’re about to go #boom”, you have to take your hat off to Surrey Police for showing a huge amount of humour and humanity whilst getting over their vitally important safety messages.
