On-line driving theory test site, Theory Test Pro, has analysed the results from 2 million driving theory tests from 150,000 test candidates that used the Theory Test Pro portal.
This analysis was spurred on by the statistic which showed that only 46% of all test candidates actually pass their driving theory test on their first attempt. The statistics were taken from a Government freedom of information release from May 2011, therefore these numbers may be different in the years since.
The analysis carried out highlighted 10 questions which 40% of learner drivers failed to answer correctly.
