Complex In-Car Gadgets Causing A Rise In Expensive Faults.

In-car technology…

Personally I love technology, however as anyone who either knows me or reads my posts will tell you, I am quite sceptical as to both the necessity and reliance put upon it from the drivers perspective.

Furthermore, the more high-tech electrical gadgets fitted to modern vehicles effectively means there is more chance of something which can go wrong.

This, of course, could very well hit you in the pocket… Hard!

Now, figures compiled from a database of more than 50,000 insurance policies show that electrical faults in cars has risen by two thirds over the past five years, with repair bills also rising by one third.

The findings also show that, on average, almost one in every four drivers will experience an electrical fault of some sort in their car during the course of a year; this is compared with one in ten back in 2008.
