Driving Lessons Sunderland: Driving Licences To Be Extended For Diabetics On Insulin

By | 18/05/2014

Plans have been announced by the Government to extend the currently restricted licence period of three years to ten years for drivers with diabetes treated by insulin.

Long term insulin users can find it difficult to recognise the dangerous symptoms of hypoglycemia.

It is expected that the changes could be in effect as early as this year.
