New research has revealed Britain’s busiest speed camera, a fixed speed camera located on Junction 25 on the M60 in Greater Manchester, clocked 9,326 speeding offences in 2013 which in turn generated an estimated £189,140 in fines.
This equates to more than one an hour throughout the 12 month period.
Furthermore and interestingly, the research also discovered that eight out of nine councils actually changed speed limits in their area last year.
