A driver has been arrested following his attempt to break a highly illegal record by driving 26.5 miles around Manhattan, New York in just 24 minutes and seven seconds. The driver allegedly used a 2006 BMW Z4 to tear through the streets in August this year.
The crazy driver recorded his attempt on video, then uploaded the video of himself breaking the highly illegal record. Prior to his arrest, the man had been bragging on-line how he couldn’t be traced for his illegal actions…
How wrong was he!

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly decided to make it a priority to track him down after news of the stunt made headlines.
The driver was charged with reckless driving and reckless endangerment.
