Drivers in Wales caught smoking with children in the car could face an on the spot fine of £50.00 should proposed changes to the law get the green light.
The move would see smoking banned in private vehicles where children under the age of 18 are present, with the aim being to protect the health of children and young people from the harm associated with being exposed to second-hand smoke.
