Oops! I had to say goodbye to yet another student today . . . ! 😉 Today’s delighted and fully deserved recipient of a shiny new full driving licence is Liam Lusk of Houghton-le-Spring who passed his driving test today (31.07.13) like a champion at Sunderland DTC with Chris Chambers School of Motoring! They say that a picture can say a thousand words . . . The law on seatbelts was introduced on 31 January 1983 which required all drivers to wear a seatbelt. Around this time it is thought that 90% (yes, that many!) of front-seat passengers were also wearing seatbelts. If memory serves, it was circa […]
Hot on the heals of my blog post yesterday concerning the falling cost of motor insurance, a report today by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) reveal that one in two hundred are caught driving uninsured. The report released via a Freedom of Information (FOI) act request states a number of facts and figures, however […]

Hot on the heals of the recent news story concerning a Chinese translator who was jailed for helping 200 learner drivers cheat on driving theory tests, it now emerges that two driving examiners have been jailed after handing out test passes in return for financial gain. Not only did said […]

They will measure at the roadside as to whether limits have been exceeded. Potentially lethal drug-drivers face a 12-month […]
