… And I could not have said it better myself! This quote pretty much encompasses the approach I take to my work. 🙂 Stay safe folks! Chris http://www.chrischambers-som.com https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=623169354390433&set=a.383726825001355.92835.245201678853871&type=1
Some people just never learn… or should that be don’t care?!? I was shocked and disappointed to read an article which highlighted new Government figures concerning driving licence endorsements. In a nut-shell, these figures state that currently: 7,621 people are still on the road with 12 points or more. 8 motorists are still driving with […]
Modernising you car is, certainly for the male of the species, a kind of rite of passage. Transforming your basic, affordable car into something that you think looks “cool” and more in fitting with your social profile is the dream of many a young, new driver (and many older ones too for that matter!). Whether […]
We have all been there I’m sure… You pull into a car park, spend what seems like an eternity looking for a parking space… only to see a car straddling two bays! Frustrating.com! For example, I recently noticed two very visible 20mph signs located at the entrance to a “road” which stretched no more than thirty feet! Whilst I can fully appreciate that […]
Further to an earlier blog post concerning the location of the “UK’s Worst Drivers”, an article in The Hartlepool Mail has highlighted an increase in driving test passes in relation to the national average. The article reveals that in 2012-13, 51% of driving tests taken as Hartlepool’s Newburn Bridge Industrial Estate Test Centre were completed successfully […]
Back in the day, men of a certain age – myself included, strived to modernise their cars to look “cool”. Some people did it tastefully, some did not: you can’t account for taste unfortunately. Having stumbled upon this little gem whilst browsing the internet, I think the person responsible for this effort has slightly missed […]
As the old saying goes, “Need a job doing: get a professional!” It appears that when officials in Swansea asked for translation of a road sign into Welsh, they assumed that the e-mail reply they received was just the ticket. Unfortunately, the sign to be translated, which in English read, “No entry for heavy goods […]
A motorist in Suffolk is due to be charged with drink-driving and careless driving following an incident which resulted in him crash-landing his Audi TT half way up a house. That’s right folks you read that correctly: Half-way up a house… The driver suffered horrific head injuries and was left fighting for his life. Fortunately the three people […]
