Match date: Tuesday 07 January 2014. Final Score: Sunderland 2 – 1 Manchester United Reflection time… As I write this, it is the day after the evening before, and oh, what a wonderful night of Football for everyone associated with the greatest club in the land, Sunderland AFC!! Are my eyes playing tricks on me, […]
Match date: Sunday 5 January 2014. Final Score: Sunderland 3 – 1 Carlisle United Reflection… First off, I am happy to report – if you didn’t already know (!) – that the lads eased their way into the fourth round of the FA Cup. With the cup serving as, in my opinion, a welcome distraction […]
Match date: Wednesday 1 January 2014. Final Score: Sunderland 0 – 1 Aston Villa Reflection… Simply put: Frustrating. Sunderland were once again the masters their own downfall – How many times have we witnessed that over the season..?! In what was touted by most as another ‘must win’ fixture pre-match, we failed to deliver what […]
Match date: Saturday 28 December 2013. Final Score: Cardiff 2 – 2 Sunderland Reflection… Oh, the joys and roller coaster of emotions of being a Sunderland supporter… Quite an incredible day in many ways. Match date: Saturday 14 December 2013. Final Score: West Ham 0 – 0 Sunderland Reflection time… *Deep exhale of breath* Oh, what I wouldn’t give for Lady Luck to shine down on my beloved Sunderland AFC at the moment..!? To come away from any away-day fixture in the Premier League with a goal-less draw should […]
Match date: Saturday 07 December 2013. Final Score: Sunderland 1 – 2 Spurs Reflection… Well, what can I say… No problems with the result really, it was our lack of performance – the main positive we’ve had of late – that both worries and disappoints me. Even though Spurs were far and away the better […]
Match date: Wednesday 04 December 2013. Final Score: Sunderland 3 – 4 Chelsea Reflection… Wow… What a crazy night of Football at the SOL! Hugely disappointed to essentially lose to an own goal of course, but this is Football… Chelsea certainly knew they were in a game this evening, and if it were not for […]
