Match date: Wednesday 16 April 2014. Final Score: Manchester City 2 – 2 Sunderland Reflection… We woz robbed Guv’nor! Desperately unlucky Sunderland managed only to snatch a score draw from the jaws of what seemed like a well deserved victory. Naturally, being Sunderland, we didn’t start the game well. Having gone one-nil down due to […]
Potholes… Don’t you just love ’em?! No, I didn’t think so – Me either! As anyone who has every driven well knows, driving over a pothole is always a bit of a nuisance to say the least. In addition to the uncomfortable and sickening ‘jolt’ you get, naturally they don’t do your car too much […]
A leading pollution expert has warned that the popularity of diesel cars could see an increase in smog over Britain. Last year, diesel powered cars accounted for 49.8% of all cars sold, this is compared with petrol’s at 48.8%. Figures show that just 14% of new cars were powered by diesel back in 2002. Match date: Saturday 12 April 2014. Final Score: Sunderland 0 – 1 Everton Reflection… A much improved performance from the lads in Red & White, however this observation is merely a side-note to yet another painful defeat. What a desperately cruel way to lose a game. Having played comfortably some of our better football since the […]
Part-time traffic lights installed on a roundabout in Preston, Lancs, which were part of a £3.5m scheme four years ago, have yet to be switched on. The traffic lights, installed to help tackle congestion, have remained switched off as congestion hasn’t been serious enough to justify switching them on. On a personal note, while I do agree […]

So, another week on planet Earth has passed in what seems like the blink of an eye… You know, I find it strange that when I was but a young boy at school, each and every day of the six-week summer holiday seemed like an absolute eternity, whereas now, being an adult, here we are […]
