Whoa… It seems that it’s Friday once again, eh?!
Time is passing far too quickly at the moment for my liking!
One minute it’s Monday morning, the next it seems it’s Friday evening… I don’t know.
Yet another positive experience has been had at Chris Chambers School of Motoring this week. It was also great to welcome my latest student, Laura, to ‘Team Chambers’; a great introduction lesson and showing a whole lot of promise even at this such early stage in her driver training.
I hope you enjoyed it Laura!
Random observations from this week include:
• 18 drivers using their mobile device in a ‘texting’ manner whilst behind the wheel (yes, I was counting!).
• 11 drivers using their mobile device in the way intended whilst behind the wheel (to the ear, not whilst driving).
• 3 drivers wearing sunglasses with their ‘hoodie’ hood up.
• 1 dog waiting patiently for the green-man to show at a pedestrian crossing!!!
In other news non-driving related news, this weekend the greatest football club in the land, Sunderland AFC, and everyone concerned with it, have a weekend off as we don’t play West Ham until Monday evening in yet another vital ‘wrong-end-of-the-table’ clash. Win this one, and it could very well kick start out survival prospects (I did say these very words in the lead up to a lot of games recently also, mind!) – lose and… well, let’s not even think about that, eh?!
