Whoa… It seems that it’s Friday once again, eh?!
Where are these weeks going to?!
The year is absolutely flying-by, and it seems not two minutes since we were celebrating the incoming on 2014.
Scary!
Anyway, another great week has been had at Chris Chambers School of Motoring. It was also great to welcome my latest student, Dylan, to ‘Team Chambers’; a great introduction lesson and showing a whole lot of promise for an absolute beginner even at this such early stage in his driver training.
I hope you enjoyed it Dylan!
In addition to this, I am pleased to announce that I have once again been confirmed as meeting the criteria of being a “fit and proper” person by the Registrar of Approved Driving Instructors, which allows my name to remain on the register.
Expected of course, but nice to have it officially confirmed anyway!
Random observations from this week include:
• 16 drivers using their mobile device in a ‘texting’ manner whilst behind the wheel (yes, I was counting!), which is actually two less than last weeks’ count! Result!
• 10 drivers using their mobile device in the way intended whilst behind the wheel (to the ear, not whilst driving).
• 1 French hatch-back with “tastefully” applied home-made Dodge Viper style racing stripes… which appeared to be fashioned from good old Duck Tape!
10 out of 10 for effort, mind!

In other news non-driving related news, this weekend the greatest football club in the land, Sunderland AFC, and everyone concerned with it, have a weekend off as we don’t play Tottenham until Monday evening.
I must stress that as much as I love my club, I’m not looking forward to it.
For me, the working week is not quite over as I am working tomorrow morning, however, then it is time for me to once again put my instructors brain in temporary stand-by mode until next week, but please remember that should you have any queries or questions, I am always available to contact through the usual channels including phone, Facebook, and the Live Chat facility via the official Chris Chambers School of Motoring website.
