A smartphone app entitled ‘Eyes On The Road’, designed by Cheil Singapore, temporarily blocks all incoming calls and messages when it senses that the vehicle is travelling over a certain speed.
The app uses sensor fusion technology in order to detect vehicle motion at above 20kph (12.43mph), and is automatically deactivated after 10 minutes of vehicle idleness.
Not a bad idea that…
