Good evening – Just a quick one if I may! Please would you be so kind as to do me a quick favour? Over recent weeks, I have had a number of people mention to me that they don’t appear to be seeing my Facebook business page posts. From what I believe, this could well […]
Japanese motor giants, Nissan, have begun tests on a “self-cleaning” vehicle. That’s right good people. Boffins at Nissan’s European technical centre in Switzerland, are working on a development which is hoped will remove the chore of cleaning the car yourself! Result! The technology – called as ‘Ultra Ever Dry’ – is in an innovative paint which […]
A new development in technology has been proposed by ‘Apple’ to address the dangerous and ubiquitous problem of drivers who use their phone while behind the wheel. The automated system would disable certain smartphone functions in order to help put a stop to the phone causing a distraction to the driver. It is hoped that […]
The past two decades has seen a huge rise in the number of totally unnecessary road signs blotting the landscape, but an end to the ‘pointless’ signs could be nearing. It seems that there is currently around one sign for every seven cars on the roads! Furthermore, the Department for Transport (DfT) admitted at the time […]
A cycle lane measuring only four metres (13ft) long has been slammed by the cycling community. The silly and totally unnecessary markings have left Council chiefs red faced after locals branded it “an embarrassment to the town”. Personally I hope that we in the UK go Dutch on this one! That’s right – Civil Engineers in the Netherlands have developed a paint for use on the highways which contains a “photo-luminising” powder that charges up in the daytime, and in turn slowly releases a green glow at night. How cool is that! […]

The seat, which weighs just 11lbs and is made with a special fabric designed to sustain high internal pressures, was originally developed by the military as part of an effort to […]
Match date: Saturday 19 April 2014. Final Score: Chelsea 1 – 2 Sunderland Reflection… What an absolutely magnificent victory… Survival is still very much ON! Just when it seems that the tiny glimmer of survival hope is about to fade away, and even the most optimistic Sunderland supporter (said supporter being Me!) is beginning to feel […]
A poll from has uncovered that 30% of young drivers (aged 18-25) admit to breaking the law during their first few years on the road. This has led to the Institute Of Advanced Motorists (IAM) to ask the question of whether the current, standard driving test is still fit for purpose. Findings also highlight that even […]
This development in technology could have come straight from the pages of a James Bond movie script! Land Rover’s latest concept car can be driven ‘at very low speed’ using a smart phone, tablet or the car’s removable console, while not actually seated inside it. This particular development is really just a gimmick in my eyes, as […]
