This development in technology could have come straight from the pages of a James Bond movie script! Land Rover’s latest concept car can be driven ‘at very low speed’ using a smart phone, tablet or the car’s removable console, while not actually seated inside it. This particular development is really just a gimmick in my eyes, as […]
Potholes… Don’t you just love ’em?! No, I didn’t think so – Me either! As anyone who has every driven well knows, driving over a pothole is always a bit of a nuisance to say the least. In addition to the uncomfortable and sickening ‘jolt’ you get, naturally they don’t do your car too much […]
A leading pollution expert has warned that the popularity of diesel cars could see an increase in smog over Britain. Last year, diesel powered cars accounted for 49.8% of all cars sold, this is compared with petrol’s at 48.8%. Figures show that just 14% of new cars were powered by diesel back in 2002. The young young entrepreneur, 23, made the revenue by filming supercars on his mobile phone. By uploading the films to YouTube, his ‘Supercars Of London’ channel, it now has 55,000 subscribers who have helped rack up 65 million views. A bulletin released today, 10.04.2014, by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) highlights proposed changes to theory test fees. The proposals are still at the consultation stage, however plans would see the current fee of £31.00 reduced by £6.00 to £25.00 in October this year, with a drop of a further £2.00 in October […]
