A survey by car insurers More Than has found that one in three drivers is so clueless when it comes to road signs, that they cannot even recognise the symbol for a sign such as the national speed limit. Worryingly of the 2,000 drivers quizzed, almost a fifth said they did not know that when driving […]
A crash involving a car and a lorry has been found to be bogus thanks to the Black box technology, which in turn foiled a fraudulent £54,000 insurance claim. Personal injury claims made by three passengers in a lorry were found implausible, when the telematics device fitted to the car also involved in the low speed shunt […]
According to research carried out by IntelligentCarLeasing.com, the number of ‘crashes’ taking place during the driving test are predicted to fall. It seems that last year there were 22% fewer such incidents took place than in 2009. The article states that there have been only 20 crashes during driving tests so far this year, therefore […]

A new development in technology has been proposed by ‘Apple’ to address the dangerous and ubiquitous problem of drivers who use their phone while behind the wheel. The automated system would disable certain smartphone functions in order to help put a stop to the phone causing a distraction to the driver. It is hoped that […]

It seems that there is currently around one sign for every seven cars on the roads! Furthermore, the Department for Transport (DfT) admitted at the time […]
