Where ever are these weeks going too?! One minute it’s Monday morning, the next it seems it’s Friday evening! Yet another positive experience has been had at Chris Chambers School of Motoring this week. I must, I guess, be doing something right, eh?! 😉 In other news non-driving related news, this weekend is yet another […]
That’s right folks – you did read the headline correctly! Great granny Laura Thomas has enjoyed a steady stream of customers for 76 years. In recognition of this, ‘The Mirror” decided to provided a representative to take a mock driving test with Mrs Thomas. Whilst watching I did notice that Mrs Thomas asked the man […]
Never under-estimate the importance good health plays whilst driving. The statement may seems obvious to many, however even relatively mild conditions such as the common cold can have a dramatic effect on concentration. Driving requires our full concentration at all times. A bad clod or flu it’s thought could drop concentration levels by as much […]
Recently I reported on plans by the UK Highways Agency to introduce a 60mph zone on the M1 in order to help reduced emissions. The reason for this is that it thought a reduction of just 10mph will help significantly in improving air quality. In France, the measures to improve air quality went gone one step […]

During the incident, an aggressive motorist swore 25 times in a foul mouthed road rage rant at a cyclist. It seems that the row began when the driver of the £51,000 Jaguar XF S crept into a green box area reserved solely for cyclists. The cyclist felt that the car was “intimidatingly close” to him […]
A survey conducted on behalf of the AA has found that, worryingly, nine out of ten drivers claim it is sometimes hard to see cyclists while driving, and more than half (55%) of those surveyed are often ‘surprised when a cyclist appears from nowhere’. The issue of ‘failure to look properly’ is the most commonly […]
